(SANFORD, Fla.) As we celebrate #GivingTuesday, Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) has a variety of opportunities for our community to help make a difference in the lives of our students and families this holiday season.

This Saturday, December 5, 2020, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Altamonte Walmart (200 S. SR 434, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714), we’ll be joining forces with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office for our annual “Pack the Patrol Car” event benefitting our homeless and economically disadvantaged SCPS students.

In addition, our Community Involvement Department will be holding our annual “Giving Tree” toy and gift-card drive from now through December 9, 2020 to support SCPS students and families in need.  Donations can be delivered to the SCPS Educational Support Center (400 E. Lake Mary Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773).  Donation boxes will be set-up in the front lobby for drop-off.

Lastly, The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools is always accepting monetary donations to help support SCPS students and families in a variety of areas of need.  To donate, visit their website:  www.foundationscps.org
