(SANFORD, FL) – Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) and our web-partner Solodev are proud to announce that the newly redesigned SCPS website:, launched in January 2017, has won a Golden Image Award in the Digital Tools Category at the 60th Anniversary of the Florida Public Relations Association’s (FPRA’s) Golden Image Awards Banquet held at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes.

Created in 1957, the FPRA Golden Image Awards program celebrates excellence in the public relations field.  Winners of this prestigious awards competition are selected from numerous statewide entries and demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning, and design.

The Golden Image Awards competition includes four divisions of categories:

  • Public Relations Programs
  • Printed Tools of Public Relations
  • Digital Tools of Public Relations
  • Student Projects in Public Relations

To qualify for judging, a Golden Image entry must incorporate sound public relations research and planning.  Entries must also meet the highest standard of production, execution and evaluation of results and budget.  The Golden Image Award is presented to the top-scoring entry in each category if the entry meets predetermined criteria of excellence set by the judges. Earlier this year, SCPS and Solodev also won an Award of Distinction locally at the FPRA-Orlando Chapter Image Awards Banquet held on April 20, 2017.  A list of all the 2017 FPRA Golden Image Award winners for each category will be available on the FPRA website:
