SCPS RANKS 1st OUT OF FLORIDA’S 17 LARGEST DISTRICTS IN 2017 3RD GRADE FSA ELA SCORES

(SANFORD, FL) Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) is pleased to announce the district ranks 1st out of Florida’s 17 largest school districts in 2017 3rd Grade Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) English Language Arts (ELA) test scores.  SCPS also ranked 1st out of all Central Florida School districts.  The percent of 3rd Grade SCPS students scoring 3 and above on the 2017 FSA ELA exam was 68%.  The state average was 58%.  In addition, SCPS ranked 9th out of all 67 state public school districts.
