About Solodev’s Work with Seminole County Public Schools:
As a top ranking school district in Florida, Seminole County Public Schools had a vital mission to connect more closely with its community. Solodev – an Orlando-based web experience platform provider – helped SCPS streamline its digital presence, reflecting their commitment to provide quality education throughout their county. In order to compete with well-funded private schools and provide an enhanced web experience to students, families, and faculty, it became clear that improving the SCPS website was both a logical and cost-effective strategy for success. By utilizing the power of the Solodev web experience platform – built on the secure, scalable and reliable foundation of AWS – they were able to set a new standard for modern K-12 websites while saving money and streamlining operations.
The SCPS website now boasts an interactive school listings map, engaging news application, an interactive event calendar, a stunning photo gallery and much more. Backed by the rock solid infrastructure of AWS tools such as elastic load balancing, auto-scaling, and elastic file storage, SCPS is now at the forefront of public education websites, and better able to serve its community of more than 70,000 students. With a beautifully crafted, highly customized design – and the infrastructure to support it – SCPS runs on the cutting edge of modern web technologies and is positioned to be a strong competitor with local private academic institutions.
