How to apply for a High School Program of Emphasis
Step 1: Determine if your child is eligible to apply for a Program of Emphasis.
- If your student is zoned to attend a high school where the Program of Emphasis exists, you do NOT need to submit a Program of Emphasis application
Step 2: Submit the Program of Emphasis application via the online application system.
Step 3: Receive a Program Of Emphasis notification email.
- Based upon limited seat availability, some on-time applicants may receive a waitlist email.
Step 4: Accept your child's Program of Emphasis seat offer via the online application system.
- Log into your parent/guardian account at https://scpsflc.scriborder.com.
- Accept your student approved Program of Emphasis school placement by the stated deadline.
Step 5: If accepted into a Program of Emphasis, complete the appropriate steps for enrollment.
10th, 11th, & 12th grade applicants:
Acceptance into a Program of Emphasis is contingent upon a school-based administrative review of student transcripts. However, families should still apply through the same online application system.
