Seminole County Public Schools uses the statewide screening database, "The Clearinghouse" to screen prospective employee’s criminal background.  It provides a single data source administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for background screening results for persons screened for employment or licensure that provide services to children, the elderly and disabled individuals. In accordance with section 435.12, Florida Statutes, Seminole County Public Schools is required to post the following link to the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse on its website.

**Please note: Eligibility with Seminole County Public Schools does not guarantee clearance through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Clearinghouse.
