Dr. Walt Griffin

As a leader in education throughout Central Florida and the state, Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) is focused on our mission to ensure that all students acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be productive citizens. We do that by listening to the needs of our community and developing a strategic plan with the School Board that is fiscally responsible, operationally efficient and places an emphasis on what’s best for our students. At SCPS, the success of our district is fueled heavily by all of our amazing students, parents, teachers, administrators, businesses, and community leaders who become engaged with our schools. It’s these partnerships that strengthen and forge the very core of everything we do as a district and help us continue to grow. Each and every day, we are committed to ensure all our students receive the best education possible so that they’re well-prepared for the future and have the skills necessary to excel in the workforce and our global economy.
