AOK Scholars Foundation - Lawrence E. White Family Foundation All Students, varies The AOK Scholars Foundation provides mentoring and supportive resources to students receiving a tuition waiver. Applicants that are selected are, with successful participation, renewed for additional semesters while students are enrolled in school and meeting the program's requirements. Students work with mentors to overcome barriers to academic success in three distinct areas: 1. Academic Needs: lab fees, tutoring, uniforms, materials, online access codes, etc. 2. Personal Development: club membership fees and dues, extracurricular activity fees, outiside courses, etc. 3. With RaiseMe, students can earn micro-scholarships from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) based on their academic and extra-curricular activities. For example, they can earn: $30 for each A earned in a core course $50 for each Advanced Placement (AP) course $100 for visiting an FAU campus How RaiseMe works: 1. Breakthrough Junior Challenge Video Contest All Students, $250,000 Khan Academy and Breakthrough Junior Challenge video contest are partnering again this year. Students ages 13 through 18 are invited to create a short— under three minutes— video explaining a challenging concept in physics, mathematics, or the life sciences in an engaging, illuminating, and creative way. In addition to awarding a $250,000 college scholarship to the winner, the Breakthrough Junior Challenge will give the winner’s teacher a $50,000 prize and the winner’s school a new $100,000 science lab. Women in Public Finance 2019 Achievement Award and Scholarship Application All Students, $1,000 Women in Public Finance Association (WPF) is currently accepting applications for the 2019 Achievement Award Scholarship. Revive Solutions $750 College Scholarship All Students, $750 biannually Revive Solutions is offering a bi-annual (twice a year) scholarship of $750 to eligible students.To be eligible, you must be a legal resident of the U.S and a college-bound high school senior or a student currently enrolled in an accredited university. The annual deadlines for all submissions are June 30th, for the Fall scholarship and November 30th for the Winter scholarship. MG Law Scholarship All Students, $1,000 The MG Law Scholarship is available for high school seniors as well as any student pursuing a higher education. Applicants must create a 45-60 second video advertisement on the dangers of drunk driving. The winning ad will be selected based on quality, usability, effectiveness, creativity, and helpfulness to warn people about the dangers of drunk driving. The Student-Caregiver Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are caring for an adult relative while enrolled in college. Two scholarships of $1,500 are awarded each year to student-caregivers to help cover costs of tuition and books. Applicants must be full-time college students at an accredited two-or-four-year college or university in the United States, or full-time high school students who are registered to attend a qualifying institution the following semester. How to Apply Interested students can submit either a 1,500-word essay or a two-minute video addressing the following questions: Who are you caring for and how are you involved as their caregiver?
