Career & Technical Education K-12 Programs

Career and Technical Education programs are a vital component of college and career readiness efforts to prepare graduates for high-wage, high-demand employment. CTE programs empower students to identify and pursue a passion while also strengthening their collaboration, problem-solving, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills. In Seminole County, middle and high school students can select from a menu of dozens of CTE programs including 51 Career & Professional Education (CAPE) academies, which must meet rigorous requirements identified in Florida law. All CAPE academies lead to industry certification, dual enrollment, and/or college credit through career pathways articulation agreements.

ePathways partners with schools to offer innovative programs that prepare students for careers that are high-wage, high-demand in Central Florida. Through Career and Technical Education (CTE) Academies and Career Themed Courses, students earn digital tools and industry certifications that prepare them for their careers now, at no cost to students.
