Transition Services

The Seminole County Public Schools Transition Services Department empowers students with disabilities to prepare for meaningful, successful lives beyond high school. Through individualized transition planning, work-based learning experiences, community partnerships, career exploration, self-advocacy instruction, and independent living opportunities, students build the skills necessary to achieve their postsecondary goals.

Whether a student’s path includes college, career and technical education, competitive employment, military service, supported employment, or independent living, our team works collaboratively with families, schools, businesses, and community agencies to ensure every student is prepared for adulthood with confidence and purpose.

Our Commitment
At Seminole County Public Schools, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to achieve meaningful adult outcomes.
Our Transition Services Department is committed to providing individualized support, innovative programming, and collaborative partnerships that empower students to pursue their goals with confidence.
Together with families, schools, employers, and community partners, we are preparing students not only for graduation—but for lifelong success.
