SCPS Library Vendor Specifications 

Seminole County Public School District uses the Insignia Library System to manage school libraries.

Request SCPS Barcode Range

After a school purchase books for their library, vendors can request a barcode range for book processing. To request a barcode range:

1. Request a barcode number range (link)
2. Complete the form.
3. Within 3 business days, you will receive an email containing the barcode number range.

Email MARC Record File

When processing the new book order, please follow the directions below for MARC records handling.

1. All MARC records must be in the 852 format.  SCPS 852 MARC format details
2. Email the MARC record file to eLibrary@scps.us
