Seminole County Public Schools Remains A-rated District for 2024-2025

(Sanford, FL) Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) has once again earned an “A”-rating as a district for the 2024-2025 school year as reported in the July 7, 2025, Florida Department of Education School Grades release. In addition, SCPS is ranked #1 when compared to Central Florida Districts, second when compared to the 14 largest districts in Florida, and 10th out of all Florida’s 67 Districts.
SCPS continues to be a state designated academically high-performing district due to our students’ achievements and the outstanding teachers, administrators and staff who provide high-quality, meaningful educational opportunities. We recognize that school grades are just one component of determining school achievement. High-performing schools and districts need the collaborative commitment of families and community members to realize the potential of each student. Combining that work with a pledge to continuously improve and innovate is the foundation of SCPS’s commitment to all stakeholders.
“I am extremely proud of our district for once again earning an A-rating. This achievement reflects the incredible dedication, perseverance, and commitment of our outstanding teachers, students, and staff. I’m also grateful to our families, community members, and business partners for their commitment to supporting our school district and for advocating for excellence for every student,” shared Serita D. Beamon, Superintendent of Seminole County Public Schools.
