COVID-19 procedures for school buses

It is the mission of Transportation Services to provide all students with safe, efficient, and effective transportation to and from school.

Transportation Services transports approximately 32,000 students to and from school daily on 345 established routes.  School bus service is provided to approximately 47% of the students that attend Seminole County Public Schools and travel about 8 million miles annually.

In addition, Transportation Services provided approximately 8,500 field trips to our school system last year. Transporting that many students requires a large team.  Transportation Services employees 600 team members consisting of drivers, monitors, mechanics, clerical staff, and administrators.
