Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) School Social Workers are an integral link in the academic success of students. School Social Workers coordinate with school personnel, parents, community agencies and students to promote optimal learning outcomes. School Social Workers collaborate directly with administrators, faculty and staff to form and implement attendance policies and truancy interventions. School Social Workers facilitate individual, group, and system-level interventions to support positive social, emotional, behavioral and independent functioning outcomes. These interventions include, but are not limited to, the coordination of crisis management, case management and wraparound services.
