Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) is thrilled to be offering World Languages programs that provide a well-rounded introduction into the world of foreign language. Students are taught how to speak, listen, read and write in the language they have chosen to learn. In addition, they are exposed to the culture of the language to promote cultural awareness and sensitivity.
World Languages teachers are highly qualified and take part in training and professional development on best practices and student engagement techniques. SCPS strives to seek teachers that are certified both in world languages and elementary education.
Languages offered in SCPS Secondary Schools - Spanish, French, Russian, Italian, German, ASL, Chinese, Latin, and Japanese
