Partners in Education

We are truly grateful for our community partners! Our SCPS Partners in Education (PIE) program promotes community engagement in our schools, creating ongoing connections and mutually beneficial relationships with community partners who share their time, experience, and resources with our students and schools while ensuring that every child can be successful and thrive.

As a SCPS Partner in Education, you can participate in a variety of ways:

• Become a Classroom Presenter at our SCPS Teach-In (November 17, 2026) or as a Guest Speaker
• Volunteer to Read with a Student (RAP) or Mentor a Child (Connections Mentor/Take Stock In Children)
• Assist with a Financial Literacy Simulation – Living on My Own
• Host an SCPS Student Intern:  Save the Date for our Internship Fair “Pathways to Possibilities” – April 3, 2027
• Donate Resources and Materials (food drives, school supplies, student incentives, SCPS Giving Tree)
• Support our Family Nights, Science Fair, Academic Bowl, and STEM Events
• Sponsor our Teacher of the Year or Dividends & Partners in Education of the Year Events
• Participate in a Campus Beautification Day
• Provide Financial Support for School Clubs, Sports, the Arts, and other School Initiatives
• Celebrate our teachers and staff by providing food and giveaways

You can choose to work with one school, multiple schools, or become a district-wide partner. 

Your involvement makes a significant difference in the lives of our students and helps build a stronger community.
