LONGWOOD, FL – In another bold step to support student mental health, Seminole County Public Schools has once again partnered with Ali’s Hope Foundation to create the newest student wellness lounge at Lyman High School, the Lyman Hope Hub. 

The Hope Hub is designed as a safe, welcoming space where students can relax, recharge, and connect with mental-wellness resources. It is the latest effort by Ali’s Hope Foundation, a local nonprofit that has already partnered with eight Seminole County high schools to strengthen student well-being through peer-driven Wellness Clubs and dedicated lounge spaces.

Over the past two years, Ali’s Hope Foundation has invested more than $140,000 into Seminole County Public Schools to ensure students have on-campus access to social workers and daily support at Wellness Lounges in schools like Lake Mary High and Winter Springs High. Now, Lyman students will have the same opportunity.

“With student mental health needs at an all-time high, we are so thankful to have partners like Ali’s Hope who continue to help us come alongside our students and provide them with a place where they can easily access resources and receive support from peers and trained mental health professionals,” said Serita Beamon, Superintendent of Seminole County Public Schools.
