Program Description:

The objective of the Westside Community Center 21st Century program is to enhance the regular school day through high-quality academic and personal enrichment in the core content areas of reading, mathematics and science with a focus on literacy, as well as support literacy development and other educational services to the families of regularly participating students. All services and activities provided are 

No Cost to the students and their families.

Crooms Academy of Information Technology

Middle School Program – 6th thru 8th Grades

Programs Offered:

Homework help, Tutoring, Project-Based Learning thru STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), Health and Nutrition, and Character Education  

Boys & Girls Club Personal Enrichment (SMART Moves, SMART Kids, Start SMART, SMART Girls, Passport to Manhood and Triple Play) 

Personal Enrichment (Drumline, Drama, Domatics, Dance, High Step Team, Basketball, Arts and more) 

Monthly Adult Family Member Engagement workshops and activities to increase self-sufficiency and serve as a resource in their children’s education.
