All About Online Safety – Home Settings to Protect Your Child
Similar to how SCPS protects students and employees when using our network during normal operations, parents can protect their child when using their home network. One area Spectrum customers may find helpful is Spectrum’s “About Parental Controls"* webpage. Spectrum offers multiple “Parental Controls” for their services which include controls for your TV and controls for your home Internet.
AT&T customers can reference the company’s information at “Parental Controls”* webpage.
Comcast/Xfinity customers can reference the Xfininty "Setup Parental Controls for the Internet"* webpage.
For more information on parent controls including on mobile devices see, Using Parental Controls for TV and Digital Video.*

Resetting My Child’s Password
Click Parental Student Password Reset to reset your child’s password.
Parents must have their email address attached to the student’s record in Skyward. If your email address is not in Skyward and you have a FamilyAccess account, then please add your email address in FamilyAccess prior to resetting your child’s password.
If you do not have a FamilyAccess account or are unable to update your email address in FamilyAccess, please contact your school. A school representative will be able to assist in updating your child’s Skyward account with your email address. You may also contact your child’s teacher to have their password reset.
