Drug Testing - $25.50

Substitute Teacher Certificate - $25.00

Effective July 1, 2010, the fee for digital fingerprinting, with a five (5) year retention period, increased to $81.25.  This fee is non-refundable.  An on-line employment application must be completed prior to being fingerprinted and/or drug tested.  Substitute Teacher fees can be paid in advance up to 30 days prior to the substitute teacher training class.  Pre-payment of fees may help expedite the application processing time.  Please bring your receipt for payment to the training class.

To begin the process of becoming a substitute teacher, you must first have a valid, on-line application on file not over one year old.  Next, register for an upcoming Substitute Teacher Training Class.  Once your registration has been confirmed, you may print your confirmation page.  Also, you will be directed to download and print the substitute teacher form packet to complete and bring with you to the training class.  If you logout of the confirmation screen before printing the substitute teacher packet, you may go back to the Training Class site, enter your social security number and click the Substitute Teacher Form Packet link under Training Tools.  Here you will be able to open and print the packet of forms.  If you are unable to open and print the required documents, you may obtain a packet in person from the Educational Support Center at 400 E. Lake Mary Blvd., Sanford, FL  32773.
