To assist in empowering teachers to deliver instruction that develops mathematical competence and confidence in students, and provides effective strategies for improving mathematical literacy for all.

• Provide District-wide mathematics curriculum leadership.
• Encourage mathematics rich classroom environments.
• Promote rigor, relevance, and relationships in mathematics classrooms.
• Involve the community, businesses, universities, and parents in supporting mathematics throughout the District.
