JONATHAN SULLIVAN is a Kindergarten teacher at Forest City Elementary

School. Principal Tony Arena states: “Known for going above and beyond to offer

support and a helping hand to others, Jonathan has developed a wonderful rapport

with people of all ages, especially children.”

These three finalists, along with all the other Teachers of the Year, will be honored at

the Annual Teacher of the Year Recognition Celebration to be held on Thursday,

March 7, 2013 at the Altamonte Springs Hilton.

TRISCIA PANARELLO is a Mathematics teacher at Sanford Middle School

teaching Advanced/Standard/Intensive Math and Pre-IB. Principal Mark Russi states:

“Ms.Panarello is innovative in supporting the needs of her students. She provides

immediate and meaningful feedback as she zips around her classroom engaging each

and every student.”

ADAM SHERMAN teaches English III Honors, English III Intensive Language

Arts/and Leadership at Lake Brantley High School. Principal Mary Williams states:

“Adam Sherman represents the best of public education! His respect for student

potential and setting high standards of expectation for them had a climate-changing

effect in the classroom.”
