Nicole Rosemeyer - Featured Teacher

Ms. Nicole Rosemeyer is in her sixth year at Sanford Middle School.  She is currently teaching 7th grade Language Arts to Pre-IB, standard, and ESE students.   Ms. Rosemeyer holds a Master’s degree in English Education from the University of Florida; is certified in English Grades 6-12; and holds an ESOL and Reading Endorsement.  She currently serves as faculty sponsor for the Standards-Based Language Arts Project; is the 7th grade language arts curriculum leader; is a SCPS Induction Program mentor, and supervising teacher for future educators.  She has also been an active member of Literacy Committee, fall Festival Committee, and Magnet Curriculum framework team.  Ms. Rosemeyer spends countless hours planning and  has conducted professional development on reciprocal teaching strategies for science and social studies teachers.  She is currently enrolled in the Coach's Institute, and is finding ways to increase literacy in all  core academic subjects.
